Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Therapist for full-time mobile outpatient therapy in Enfield and surrounding CT communities. The role focuses on delivering in-home and facility-based speech-language pathology services to older adults, with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the patients' residence.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient speech-language pathology services in the patient's home or in care facilities to older adults.
• Supervise CFYs, students, and support personnel per state licensure.
• Adhere to treatment schedules, document clinically and for billing; participate in meetings.
• Consult with rehabilitation team and physicians to select appropriate therapy.
• Adapt plans of care to individual patient needs and promote safe home environments.
• Coordinate care and equipment needs; ensure proper documentation and progress notes.
