Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Therapist to provide mobile outpatient therapy across Vernon, South Windsor, Ellington and Enfield, CT. The role is full-time (35-40 hours/week) and involves delivering comprehensive speech-language pathology services in home, school, and community settings.

You will supervise CFYs or students as needed, document thoroughly, and collaborate with the rehab team to create and adjust treatment plans while ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to patients' residences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CFYs, students and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and standards.
• Ensure adherence to department and patient treatment schedule; complete documentation and attend meetings.
• Participate in patient care conferences and other related meetings.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to address patient needs and adapt plans as required.
• Develop and implement treatment goals and plans; modify as needed based on patient progress.
• Promote safety; order supplies and maintain equipment as necessary.
• Coordinate care in home and community with the rehab team and referring physician.
