Job summary

Tutor Me Education connects educators with neurodivergent students for high-impact, in-home 1:1 tutoring. As an In-Home Special Education Tutor, you will deliver personalized instruction, socio-emotional support, and behavioral guidance in the student’s home, aligned to IEP goals.

This is a flexible, part-time W-2 role starting with 2–10 hours per week, with potential to grow by taking on more students. Mileage, reimbursements, and other incentives are available.

Qualifications

• Empathy, patience, and a student-first approach are essential.
• Hands-on experience with students with special needs or learning differences is preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and have a reliable vehicle for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions in-home across California.
• Implement lesson plans aligned to IEP goals with our curriculum support.
• Adapt materials to each student’s learning profile to maximize progress.
• Track student progress and maintain open communication with parents/guardians.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment that builds confidence and resilience.
