Job summary

Tutor Me Education connects educators with neurodivergent students for 1:1 in-home tutoring. As an In-Home Special Education Tutor, you will deliver personalized instruction, socio-emotional support, and behavioral guidance in the student’s home.

This flexible, part-time W-2 role starts with 2–10 hours/week and grows as you take on more students, with higher rates for credentialed or specialized tutors and bilingual matches.

Qualifications

• AA, BA, or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or Education preferred.
• Hands-on experience supporting students with special needs (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia) — enrolled students encouraged to apply.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable vehicle for local travel to client homes.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a strong plus — premium rates for bilingual matches.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 sessions tailored to diverse learning needs.
• Implement lesson plans aligned to IEP goals with team support.
• Adapt materials to each student’s learning profile.
• Track progress after each session and communicate with parents/guardians.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that builds confidence.
