Tutor Me Education in California seeks an In-Home Special Education Tutor to deliver personalized instruction and socio-emotional support in students' homes. Start with 2–10 hours per week, with potential to grow, as a part-time W-2 employee.

Responsibilities include leading 1:1 sessions, adapting materials to IEP goals, tracking progress, and communicating with parents. Bilingual Spanish/English is a strong plus, with premium rates for matches.

Qualifications

• AA/BA or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or Education.
• Hands-on experience with students with special needs (ASD/ADHD/Dyslexia) or current college student with such experience.
• Empathy, patience, and a student-first approach.
• Reliable vehicle for local travel to client homes.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging 1:1 sessions tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
• Implement creative lesson plans aligned to each student's IEP goals (full resources and support from our team).
• Adapt academic materials to each student's unique learning profile.
• Track progress after each session and maintain open, empathetic communication with parents and guardians.
