Job summary

Tutor Me Education 1 is seeking an In-Home Special Education Tutor to deliver 1:1 instruction in students' homes across California, aligning lessons to IEP goals and providing socio-emotional support. This flexible, part-time W-2 role starts with ~2–10 hrs/week per student, with potential to add more students and grow hours.

Requirements include AA/BA or higher in related fields, hands-on experience with neurodivergent learners, a background check, and bilingual Spanish/English is a plus for

Qualifications

AA/BA or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or Education.
Hands-on experience with neurodivergent students (ASD/ADHD/Dyslexia) preferred.
Ability to pass a background check.
Reliable vehicle for local travel.
Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus with premium rates.

Responsibilities

Lead 1:1 in-home tutoring sessions tailored to IEP goals.
Implement personalized lesson plans aligned to each student's needs.
Adapt materials to each student's learning profile.
Track progress and communicate with parents and guardians.
Maintain a safe, inclusive tutoring environment.
