Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking in-home, part-time tutors to deliver personalized 1:1 instruction across California. You’ll work as a W-2 employee with flexible hours, starting ~2–10 hrs/week and growing as you take on more students.

Responsibilities include delivering IEP-aligned tutoring, socio-emotional support, and behavioral guidance in students' homes. A background check is required; bilingual candidates earn premium rates.

Qualifications

• AA/BA or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or Education.
• Hands‑on experience supporting students with special needs (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia).
• Ability to pass a background check and have a reliable vehicle for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 tutoring sessions tailored to each student's learning needs.
• Implement lesson plans aligned to IEP goals with team support.
• Adapt academic materials to each student's learning profile.
• Track progress after each session and communicate with parents/guardians.
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment to build confidence.
