DryZone Basement Systems is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our Massachusetts and Rhode Island team. This field-based, in-home consultative role involves inspecting basements and crawl spaces, identifying issues, and recommending the right solutions to homeowners.

You’ll work with pre-scheduled appointments, build trust with customers, and close sales. Strong independence, problem-solving, and customer-focused communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside, field, in-home, or other consultative sales experience.
• Proven ability to close sales and meet performance goals.
• Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
• Comfort discussing pricing, handling objections, and asking for the sale.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Experience using CRM software and mobile sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Travel to pre-scheduled homeowner appointments across your territory.
• Meet homeowners to understand concerns, priorities, and goals.
• Inspect areas of concern to identify the source of the problem.
• Educate homeowners on findings and available solutions.
• Develop and present customized proposals based on needs.
• Help customers understand and prioritize recommended solutions.
• Address questions and confidently close the sale.
• Prepare accurate proposals, contracts, measurements, and documentation.
• Maintain organized customer records and follow up as needed.
• Coordinate with customer care, production, and management during the sales process.
