Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Sales Consultant for Home Services to drive exterior and interior product sales by visiting customers' homes and industry events. You will travel frequently, assess customer needs, tailor product recommendations, develop quotes, and present warranty and financing options to close deals.

You will also complete sales contracts, take measurements for installation, and build relationships with stores and associates to grow HDIS programs and referrals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• In-home or virtual sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer homes for outside sales visits and industry events.
• Assess customer needs and develop tailored product recommendations.
• Develop and negotiate price quotes; present warranty and financing options.
• Complete required sales contracts and paperwork; take measurements for installation.
• Cultivate new referrals; develop relationships with store management and associates.
