Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive exterior and interior product sales through outside visits to customer homes and trade shows. The role involves traveling, presenting tailored product recommendations, and completing installation-ready quotes and paperwork.

You will prospect new customers inside stores and at industry events, educate store staff on HDIS offerings, and maintain relationships with management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Experience in sales is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel and work away from a traditional office environment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes and trade shows to conduct sales presentations.
• Develop and negotiate customized price quotes and present warranty/financing options.
• Complete sales contracts and paperwork and take measurements to ensure installation specifications.
• Solicit new customers inside assigned Home Depot stores and at industry events.
• Educate store associates on Home Services offerings and HDIS programs.
