Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a dynamic Home Services Sales Consultant to drive outside sales to residential customers, primarily visiting homes and participating in industry events. You will assess needs, tailor product recommendations, present quotes and financing options, and complete all sales paperwork.

This role requires frequent travel, strong communication, and the ability to build relationships with store teams and customers while educating associates on HDIS offerings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Preferred in-home or virtual sales experience.
• Preferred home improvement industry experience.
• Preferred lead generation experience.
• Computer and application skills and use of varied technology (email, iPad, apps).

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes for outside sales visits and industry events.
• Present professional and compelling sales presentations.
• Develop and negotiate customized price quotes and financing options.
• Complete required sales contracts and paperwork.
• Prepare for appointments and commute to/from appointments; measure product specifications.
• Prospect for new customers inside stores and at events; build new relationships.
• Attend sales and store team meetings to continually improve techniques and learn offerings.
• Maintain relationships with store management and associates.
