Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to generate leads and deliver in-home solar presentations. You will build direct customer relationships, qualify solar as a viable energy solution, and drive installation-ready opportunities in residential markets.

A strong emphasis on meeting sales targets, flexible hours, and local travel is required. Eligible candidates can expect competitive commissions, a robust benefits package, and programs like PowerU tuition reimbursement and the Freedom Time

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, with in-home sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to partner cross-functionally.
• Willingness to travel within local market and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after activation.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs.
• Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
• Accurately disposition and report on outcomes via CRM.
• Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
