ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to support seniors in Orinda, CA, helping them live safely at home with dignity. The role emphasizes personalized, client-centered care and attention to daily needs.

Ideal candidates have caregiving experience, a reliable background, a valid driver�s license, and strong communication skills to collaborate with families and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a home care aide, caregiver, CNA, or in a related caregiving role preferred.
• Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references.
• Valid driver�s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow a care plan with minimal supervision.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying living spaces.
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and well-being.
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments or errands.
• Document and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors.
