ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide to support seniors and individuals at home in Orinda, CA. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to help clients live safely and comfortably with dignity.

You will perform ADLs, provide companionship, prepare meals, run light errands, and document changes for supervisors. We value empathy, reliability, and ability to follow care plans with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a home care aide or related caregiving role.
• Genuine compassion, patience, and client-centered approach.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and families.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, tidying spaces.
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor client health and wellbeing.
• Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments or errands.
• Document and communicate any changes in client condition to supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a home care aide, caregiver, CNA, or in a related caregiving role preferred
• Genuine compassion, patience, and a client-centered approach to care
• Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow a care plan with minimal supervision
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
