ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is seeking a compassionate Caregiver CNA for weekend shifts in Orinda, CA. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility, and support clients in daily activities, ensuring safety and comfort in their own homes.

The position emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and the ability to work weekends (Sat & Sun, 2pm–10pm). Prior home care experience and CA CNA certification are preferred, with a focus on compassionate, patient care.

Qualifications

• Active CA CNA certification required.
• Experience in home care or assisted living preferred.
• Weekend availability required (Sat & Sun 2pm–10pm).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort.
• Monitor and document client health status and report changes to appropriate personnel.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with daily medication routines.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
