Job summary

ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West in Orinda, CA seeks a compassionate Home Care Aide for morning AM shifts to support clients at home and improve quality of life.

You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation as needed; prior caregiving experience preferred; valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a home care or caregiving role preferred.
• Reliable availability for AM shifts on a consistent schedule.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide references.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation during morning hours.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors.
• Administer medication reminders and follow individualized care plans.
• Transport or accompany clients to appointments or errands when required.
