Job summary

ADT is hiring a Sales Advisor in Minnesota who will demonstrate the value of security and smart home solutions to customers. You will visit homes, build trust, and tailor each system to fit the client’s space and lifestyle.

Compensation features unlimited commissions with an average first-year potential of $95,000 and experienced advisors earning well over $150,000. Training pay up to $4,000 over the first 8 weeks, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to travel within a designated territory using your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; additional licensing may be needed based on location.
• Comfortable using technology to stay organized, efficient, and accountable in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with an entrepreneurial mindset; you thrive on uncovering new leads and closing deals that deliver real value.
• Strong communicator and natural relationship builder, able to consult with customers, understand their needs, and guide them to the right solution.

Responsibilities

• Listen and build trust: become a reliable advisor customers can count on, during the sale and after installation.
• Customize each system to fit client’s space, lifestyle, and concerns, combining security, automation, and life safety tech.
• Conduct post-installation follow-ups with customers to confirm commitments and generate referrals.
• Cultivate new business opportunities: identify and generate new sales leads to maximize outreach.
