Job summary

Nelson Exteriors is hiring In-Home Sales Consultants who sit with homeowners and guide them through exterior remodeling proposals using a proven step-selling process. You’ll work only with pre-qualified appointments set by our call center—no cold calling, ever.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in-home or commissioned sales experience.
• Ability to follow a proven sales process.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Confidence to ask for the sale.
• Independent work ethic and self-management.
• Willingness to learn exterior construction products.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Comfort with tablets and CRM to manage appointments and contracts.
• Ability to lift and carry sample materials (up to 60 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Meet homeowners at company-provided, pre-set appointments across Metro Atlanta (10-12 per week).
• Follow the structured step-selling process to build rapport, evaluate needs, present solutions, handle objections, and close the contract in the home.
• Sell exterior remodeling services: siding, roofing, windows, doors, painting, decks, gutters.
• Present proposals clearly, including scope, pricing, and financing options.
• Manage your pipeline from initial consultation through signed agreement.
• Hand off signed contracts to the production team for smooth project execution.
• Track all activity, appointments, and pipeline in our tablet-based CRM.
• Continuously sharpen your skills through coaching, ride-alongs, and sales meetings.
