Job summary

Advanceable ABA in Smithfield, NC is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for in-home, part-time and full-time positions. You’ll work in the child’s home, delivering 1:1 ABA therapy under BCBA supervision and help build communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification, if not we’ll support your path to certification
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required)
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism
• Ability to work in clients’ homes throughout the LOCATION area
• Part-time and full-time RBT positions available
• Afternoon and after-school sessions (Monday–Friday; weekends as needed)
• 15–25+ hours per week depending on your availability and client needs

Responsibilities

• Working directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
• Helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily-living skills
• Using evidence-based ABA strategies and reinforcement techniques
• Tracking progress through accurate session data and clinical notes
• Communicating professionally with families and members of the clinical team
• Participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and training
• Staying active and engaged during sessions, including sitting, squatting, walking, running, and playing with children
