Job summary

Verbal Beginnings is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy in children's homes, schools, and community settings. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication, behavior, feeding, ADLs, and social skills.

The role offers flexible part-time scheduling (2–5 days per week) with sessions typically 2–4 hours, often during mornings or early evenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping children with autism reach their goals.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a care team.
• Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress).
• 6+ months of experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes and provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy in a naturalistic, home‑based setting.
• Implement individualized, evidence‑based ABA treatment plans designed by a supervising BCBA to address each child's unique goals.
• Collect and record precise data to track each child's progress and inform ongoing treatment updates.
• Collaborate with your supervising BCBA and the child's family to ensure consistency and carry‑over of skills in the home environment.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families.
