Job summary

Advanceable ABA in Smithfield, NC is seeking a Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver 1:1 in-home ABA therapy under BCBA supervision. Join a supportive team helping children with autism build communication, play, and life skills in their natural environment.

Part-time or full-time schedules available, with afternoon, after-school sessions and weekend options. Competitive hourly pay and benefits including paid training, PTO, and certification support.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification required; we will support your path to certification if not yet certified.
• 1+ year of experience working with kids or individuals with special needs (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (required).
• Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children to implement individualized ABA treatment plans
• Track progress through accurate session data and notes
• Communicate with families and your clinical team to support success
• Stay physically active during sessions — sitting, squatting, playing, running, etc.
