Job summary

Mind & Mobility is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home care for Medicare Part B patients in Winter Park, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will implement treatment plans, deliver skilled therapy to improve mobility and function, and educate patients on exercises and safety.

The role requires a licensed PTA in Florida, experience in home health or outpatient therapy, and strong communication to collaborate with the therapy team.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in Florida
• Experience in home health or outpatient therapy preferred
• Knowledge of Medicare Part B documentation and regulations
• Strong patient care, treatment implementation, and communication skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans and report patient progress
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Independent, flexible schedule
• CPR and related certifications as required

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide skilled therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety techniques, and fall prevention strategies.
• Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with Medicare Part B guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and the home health/therapy team.
• Monitor patient response to therapy and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment during home visits.
