Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to provide one-on-one therapy in patients’ homes in the Houston area. You’ll help improve mobility, regain independence, and enhance quality of life with flexible, self-managed scheduling.

As a PTA, you will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist, educate patients and caregivers, and document visits promptly. The role emphasizes independence and meaningful, patient-centered care in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
