Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare is seeking a PTA to provide one-on-one physical therapy in patients' homes, helping them improve mobility, regain independence, and enhance quality of life. This PRN position offers a flexible schedule, ideal for PTA clinicians seeking work-life balance or additional income.

You will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist, assist patients with exercises, monitor progress, educate families on safe home programs, and document visits promptly.

Qualifications

• Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation & driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
