Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home patient visits under a Physical Therapist's plan of care.

You will help with active and passive exercises, gait training, and daily functional activities. The role requires an unrestricted PTA license in Kentucky, CPR/BLS/First Aid, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of PTA experience in home health or similar settings.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Kentucky.
• Current CPR/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel.
• One year of PTA experience in home health or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home patient visits under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercises, gait and ADL training.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to supervising PT.
• Educate patient and family on participation and rehabilitation approaches.
