Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver in-home care under a Physical Therapist’s guidance. You’ll coach patients through exercises, gait training, and activities of daily living to promote independence and safety.

You’ll monitor patient progress, report changes to the supervising clinician, and educate families on rehabilitation strategies. Ohio home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in the state you work.
• CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification current.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• One year of PTA experience in home health or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home patient visits under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Instruct and aid patients in exercises, gait and ADL training.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising provider.
• Educate patients and families on participation and rehabilitation.
