Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver in-home patient care under a Physical Therapist’s direction. You will supervise and guide patients through exercises, re-education, and safety-focused activities in a home setting.

You will educate families, document responses, and coordinate care to support rehabilitation goals. Competitive pay, benefits, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus are offered with flexible FT/PT/PRN schedules and a daily pay option.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the relevant state.
• CPR/BLS/First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel.
• One year of PTA experience in home health or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home patient visits per plan of care under supervision of a PT.
• Instruct and assist with active and passive exercises, gait, ADLs, transfers and safety.
• Record and report patient responses to treatment to supervising provider.
• Educate patient and family on rehabilitation participation and home program.
