Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an in-home/outpatient rehabilitation role in Gallup, NM. The assignment is 15 weeks long, onsite, with a schedule of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Licensed PTAs will work under a supervising Physical Therapist to deliver functional treatments for older adults. The position requires a valid license in the practicing state, reliable transportation, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation and home health settings is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Maintain timely documentation of patient treatments.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in treatment techniques.
• Prepare and clean equipment; report repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with rehab team to implement treatment plans.
