Job summary

Peace and Harmony Homecare LLC seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to support PT in home-based care, helping patients regain mobility, strength, and function. This role involves guiding exercise programs, administering modalities, and coordinating with the clinical team to ensure continuous progress toward therapy goals.

The PTA must have a valid license, CPR certification, and at least two years of PTA experience, preferably in home health, with a willingness to travel to patient

Qualifications

• Graduated from a PTA program approved by ACPE.
• Current PTA license in the state of practice.
• Minimum two years PTA experience, preferably in home health.
• Criminal background check and other state checks as required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist PT in implementing patient care plans and daily therapy tasks.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercise programs and gait training.
• Apply modalities to stimulate muscle/nerve function as ordered.
• Maintain patient charts and coordinate referrals for reevaluation.
• Prepare equipment, transport patients to therapy areas, and assist transfers.
