Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from patients’ residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care and meetings as a representative of physical therapy under the guidance of the licensed PT.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedules and documents clinical activities and billing.
• Collaborates with rehab team to implement patient-centered programs and activities.
• Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist during tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients, families and caregivers in PT techniques under supervision.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports repairs as needed.
• Upholds a patient-first service approach in a compassionate environment.
• Implements patient treatment plans established by the primary PT.
• Provides PT treatments including therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy, airway techniques, and wellness education.
