Job summary

Ignite Rehab (Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy) seeks a part-time Physical Therapist to provide in-home care across Passaic County, including Paterson. Flexible schedule with benefits offered. 20 visits per week, 1:1 therapy, and mentorship available for new grads.

Licensed NJ PT or eligible required; NJ licensure and certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR preferred. Travel to patients’ homes within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT with NJ eligibility or current licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist program.
• Certifications in First Aid, AED and CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients in their home within Passaic County and surrounding areas.
• Provide 1:1 therapy sessions and individualized treatment plans.
• Evaluate patient needs and follow physician orders to guide care.
• Deliver care aligned with professional standards and agency policies.
• Educate family members and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercises.
• Develop and carry out occupational therapy programs to restore function and relieve pain.
• Perform initial examinations and document findings to guide interventions.
• Maintain timely documentation for each visit and track progress.
• Adapt treatments based on response and geriatric patient needs.
