Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Physical Therapist in Lanham, MD for an in-home outpatient rehabilitation assignment. The PT will evaluate and treat older adults in patients' homes or in independent living facilities, delivering personalized therapy plans to restore independence.

Requirements include a valid Physical Therapy license in the U.S., a Master's degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent), and eligibility for licensure. 40 hours/week, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 17 weeks, onsite.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• Master's degree in Physical Therapy; or Master's in PT related field plus Bachelor's in Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of PT experience.
• Good communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work in home-based settings and coordinate with caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in home-based settings.
• Evaluate and treat older adults to restore independence.
• Coordinate with rehab team to address patient needs and referrals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and scheduling per policy.
• Promote safety and quality of care in the home environment.
