Job summary

GYMGUYZ NJ seeks a Certified Personal Trainer to deliver one-on-one, home-based fitness coaching with high client service standards. You’ll guide health, fitness and wellness goals while using our app to track progress and sessions. Position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities.

You’ll work with a wide range of clients, maintain safety, and uphold the company’s commitment to excellence. A strong motivation for results and flexible scheduling are expected.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer (NCCA or DEAC accredited organization).
• Minimum High school diploma or GED equivalent. Advanced education preferred.
• All experience levels welcome to apply.
• Good communication skills; verbal, written, and technical.
• Have a basic understanding of nutrition and healthy living practices.
• Knowledgeable of a variety of exercise equipment and personal training methods.
• Clean Driver’s License/driving record.
• Certified in CPR/AED.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform athletic calisthenics duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow the workout program developed from the initial assessment.
• Choose customized exercises that provide optimum results per the client’s needs.
• Demonstrate each exercise and ensure the client is performing correctly with or without modifications.
• Document and plan your sessions in our GYMGUYZ App.
• Complete session notes after each client training session.
• Conduct client reassessments every 4 – 6 weeks.
• Maintain client sessions through GYMGUYZ scheduling software.
• Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments.
