Job summary

GYMGUYZ is seeking a Certified Personal Trainer in New Jersey to deliver one-on-one fitness instruction at clients’ doorsteps, helping them reach goals with exceptional service. The role is part-time to full-time, with a focus on integrity and client success.

Our NJ team works with a wide range of clients using a proven accountability model, bringing equipment and workouts directly to the client’s location while maintaining a strong emphasis on respect and results.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer (NCCA or DEAC accredited organization).
• High school diploma or GED; advanced education preferred.
• All experience levels welcome to apply.
• Good communication skills; verbal, written, and technical.
• Basic nutrition knowledge and healthy living practices.
• Knowledgeable of a variety of exercise equipment and training methods.
• Clean Driver’s License/driving record.
• Certified in CPR/AED.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. and perform athletic calisthenics duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow the workout program developed from the initial assessment.
• Choose customized exercises that provide optimum results per the client’s needs.
• Demonstrate each exercise and ensure the client is performing correctly with or without modifications.
• Document and plan your sessions in our GYMGUYZ App.
• Complete session notes after each client training session.
• Conduct client reassessments every 4 – 6 weeks.
• Maintain client sessions through GYMGUYZ scheduling software.
• Able to provide a flexible schedule to accommodate client appointments.
