AM WELL ASSISTANCE SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking compassionate Personal Support Specialists in Maine to provide non-medical in-home care. You will assist with activities of daily living, mobility, light housekeeping, meal planning, companionship, transportation, and careful reporting to supervisors.

Qualifications

Valid Maine PSS Certification (or willingness to complete training).
Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of active auto insurance.
A patient, sympathetic attitude toward the elderly and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Ability to perform the physical tasks required of the role (lifting, bending, and standing).

Responsibilities

Personal Care: Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
Mobility Support: Help with walking, transfers, and fall prevention.
Household Support: Light housekeeping including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and tidying.
Nutrition: Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and healthy meal preparation.
Companionship: Provide emotional support, conversation, and engagement in activities.
Transportation: Escort clients to appointments and assist with errands.
Reporting: Observe and document changes and report to supervisor.
