AM WELL ASSISTANCE SOLUTIONS LLC in Maine is seeking Personal Support Specialists to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and individuals with disabilities, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. Qualifications

Valid Maine PSS Certification (or willingness to complete training).
Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable vehicle with valid driver's license and proof of active auto insurance.
A patient, sympathetic attitude toward the elderly and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Ability to perform the physical tasks required of the role (lifting, bending, and standing).

Responsibilities

Personal Care: Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
Mobility Support: Help with walking, transfers, and fall prevention.
Household Support: Light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and tidying the living area.
Nutrition: Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and healthy meal preparation.
Companionship: Provide emotional support, conversation, and engagement in hobbies.
Transportation: Escort to doctor's appointments and assist with errands.
Reporting: Observe and document changes in health and report to supervisor.
