Job summary

AM WELL ASSISTANCE SOLUTIONS LLC in Maine is seeking compassionate Personal Support Specialists to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and individuals with disabilities, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Maine PSS Certification or willingness to complete training.
Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.
Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing) and assist with ADLs.

Responsibilities

Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
Mobility Support: Help with walking, transfers, and fall prevention.
Household Support: Light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, vacuuming, tidying areas.
Nutrition: Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and meal prep per dietary needs.
Companionship: Provide emotional support, conversation, and engagement in activities.
Transportation: Escort to appointments and assist with errands.
Reporting: Observe changes and report updates to the supervisor.
