Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is seeking Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to provide in-home non-medical care for adults and seniors. Training and supervision are provided. The role emphasizes independence, compassionate care, and adherence to client care plans in home settings.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required—training and support provided.
• In-home, non-medical personal care following each client’s plan of care.
• Must be able to work independently in client homes and adhere to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks: bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and hygiene.
• Support mobility and transfers with or without aids.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and changing bed linens.
• Assist with meals, shopping, and errands per care plan.
• Provide companionship and support daily routines or hobbies.
• Observe changes and report safety concerns to supervisor.
