Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is hiring Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to provide in-home, non-medical support to adults and seniors in their homes. This role focuses on safety, independence, and comfort, following an authorized plan of care and MaineTouch guidelines.

No experience needed—training and ongoing support are provided. Competitive pay ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for raises based on performance and certifications.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable and able to work with adults in-home settings.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home non-medical support to adults and seniors according to each client’s plan of care.
• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) and mobility as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping, meals, errands, and companionship per care plan.
• Observe changes in client conditions and report to supervisor promptly.
