Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to provide in-home care for adults and seniors. No experience needed — we train and support you in a compassionate, independent role.

The position offers full-time and part-time options with day, evening, weekend and overnight shifts, mileage reimbursement where applicable, and ongoing supervision. Growth pathways exist through CRMA, CNA, and nursing tracks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Active PSS certification in Maine, or willingness to enroll within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home non-medical care and support per client care plan.
• Assist with personal care tasks, mobility, light housekeeping, and meals.
• Document care activities and report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow infection control guidelines.
