Job summary

Charity Care Home Health is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides to provide hands‑on support to clients in the Suffolk and Franklin, Virginia areas, helping seniors and individuals with disabilities remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

As a Personal Care Aide / Home Health Aide, you will assist with daily living activities, observe changes, follow care plans with supervising nurses, and maintain clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Care Aide, Home Health Aide, or Nurse Aide training meeting Virginia requirements.
• CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain within a set timeframe.
• Experience in home or facility care is valued, with openness to training.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one assistance with ADLs, mobility, and daily routines.
• Support meal preparation and hydration while observing client needs.
• Maintain a safe home environment and follow infection control practices.
• Observe changes in condition and communicate with the supervising nurse promptly.
• Complete visit notes accurately using agency forms or electronic systems.
