Job summary

Affordable Family Care Services, Inc. is seeking Personal Care Aides to assist seniors and individuals with disabilities at home.

Responsibilities include ADL assistance, monitoring vital signs, light housekeeping, and arranging transportation to support independent living. Responsibilities also cover communicating with caregivers, nurses, doctors and families, observing client conditions, and staying informed on home health aide policies and training.

Qualifications

• Access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Your vehicle must be insured.
• You must have a valid driver’s license.
• You will need a current TB
• Background & Drug check & be E-Verify employable.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and other daily tasks
• Perform basic health care services for clients including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication
• Help with general light housekeeping, including cooking meals
• Make transportation arrangements or provide transportation for clients as needed
• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members
• Observe and report on each client’s condition
• Stay up-to-date with home health aide training, policies and procedures
