Job summary

Charity Care Home Health – Suffolk & Franklin, VA is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides, Home Health Aides, and CNAs to provide hands-on support to clients in their own homes. This role helps seniors and people with disabilities stay safe, comfortable, and independent while following Virginia regulations and agency care plans.

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, observation of changes, and clear communication with the supervising nurse.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Care Aide, Home Health Aide, or Nurse Aide training that meets Virginia requirements.
• Willingness to obtain approved PCA training if not currently certified.
• CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, mobility, meals).
• Provide light housekeeping and ensure home safety for clients.
• Offer companionship and observe changes in condition; report to supervising nurse.
• Complete visit notes accurately and follow care plans with RN input.
