Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a dedicated Parent Aide/Educator to join our NH team providing in-home services to children, youth and families. You will coordinate with the clinical team, DCYF, and schools to implement treatment plans and document progress.

Most visits occur in the afternoon or early evening, with on-call support and flexible hours to meet client needs. Responsibilities include developing measurable treatment goals with families, coordinating court reports, and delivering

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 4 years minimum experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting.
• Associates degree with 2 years minimum experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting preferred
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
• Access to high speed, secure internet required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain caseload and ensure proper in-home service implementation per DCYF referrals.
• Collaborate with DCYF to respond to referrals, create treatment plans, attend meetings, and document services.
• Develop treatment plans with measurable goals in partnership with families and DCYF.
• Adhere to documentation requirements including assessments and reports.
• Report progress to the court system in person and in writing.
• Provide parent education and supervised visitation in homes and communities.
• Offer parent coaching and strategies to meet healthcare and educational needs.
• Ensure child safety through supervised visitation as identified by DCYF.
• Coordinate with DCYF, NH courts, schools, and other service providers.
• Assess client risk and consult with supervisor as needed.
• Transport clients (including car seat installations).
• On-call rotation to support families; evenings/weekends may be required.
• Document all clinical contacts via Electronic Health System.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
