Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide in-home outpatient care for older adults in Virginia. You will evaluate, treat, and progress patients in their homes or in an independent living setting, tailoring activities to restore independence.

Responsibilities include developing plans, supervising assistants, documenting care, and coordinating with the rehab team to deliver high-quality, compassionate therapy. A flexible schedule is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
• Initial NBCOT registration.
• Valid OT license in the practicing state; transportation to patient homes required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home outpatient occupational therapy to older adults.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Supervise assistants and students as allowed; coordinate with rehab team.
• Document clinical and billing records accurately.
• Order supplies and ensure a safe home environment.
• Promote functional independence and community reintegration.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy

NBCOT Certification/Registration

OT License in state of practice

Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
