Job summary

Working Nurses Healthcare, LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) for home health visits in Florida. The OTA will assess patient needs, develop customized therapy plans, and collaborate with the health team to arrange follow-up care and educate patients on lifestyle changes.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or registered by the State.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to stay positive and compassionate with patients.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and discuss health concerns and therapy needs.
• Assist in evaluations and development of the rehabilitative plan of care and periodic re-evaluation.
• Prepare clinical and daily progress notes and periodic summary reports.
• Instruct patient and family; assist in teaching exercise programs with the OTR.
• Write daily progress notes and submit within 48 hours.
