Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a local contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for Bourne, MA. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 42.5 hours per week and a shift of 8 hours per day, starting 11/16/2026 in a home-based outpatient rehabilitation setting.

The role focuses on delivering occupational therapy services under supervision, ensuring patient safety, accurate documentation, and coordinated care with the rehabilitation team in various home settings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license eligibility.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from patients’ residences.

Responsibilities

• Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and required meetings as a representative of occupational therapy, under the direction of the OT.
• Adheres to department and patient treatment schedules, documents clinical activities and billing records as required.
• Works with rehab team to develop programs matching patient needs and capabilities.
• Instructs patients, families and caregivers in OT techniques under supervision of OT.
• Maintains timely documentation for all patients treated.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and reports needs for repair.
• Delivers patient-centered service in a compassionate setting.
