Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks an Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide in-home outpatient occupational therapy for the elderly across Dover NH settings.

The clinician will design and implement home-based OT programs, supervise trainees, and coordinate with the rehabilitation team to maximize patient independence and safety. A valid state license and NBCOT registration are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Initial registrati on with NBCOT.
• Valid OT license in the state of practice.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient rehab services in-home for older adults.
• Supervise OTAs, temporary licensees, and students per licensure.
• Maintain treatment schedules, clinical documentation, and meetings.
• Collaborate with rehab team and refer to other disciplines as needed.
• Assess patients and develop/adjust OT treatment plans.
• Ensure safety, manage equipment and supplies, and maintain a safe environment.
• Deliver OT interventions addressing activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and endurance.
