Job summary

Oakland Heath Services seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide intermittent in-home occupational therapy under the supervision of an OT and Clinical Services Director. The role requires current OTA certification, state licensure where practicing, and NBOT/NBCOT maintenance.

Responsibilities include implementing plans of care, educating patients and families, and participating in in-service programs and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• OTA certification from an AOTA-accredited program.
• NBCOT certification maintained.
• Currently certified in the states in which practicing; licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
• Improve or minimize residual disabilities.
• Return patient to optimum, productive level.
• Collaborate with health care team on care planning.
• Perform skilled OT procedures as ordered by physician.
