Adara Home Health, Inc. in Minnesota seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-home OT services under supervision of a licensed OT. The role focuses on restoring and enhancing client function through 1:1 sessions in clients' homes.

You will travel to client homes within Pine City, Mora and nearby areas, maintaining documentation and collaborating with the OT and care team. A Minnesota OTA license is required, along with two years of healthcare experience; driving is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two-year COTA program leading to an associate degree.
• Currently licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in Minnesota.
• At least two years of healthcare experience; home health preferred.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teaching skills.
• Access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation for travel to multiple client stops.

Responsibilities

• Provides treatments to restore and enhance the physical and psychosocial function under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Carries out maintenance programs developed by the licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Demonstrates home therapy program for client, family or other helpers as directed.
• Reinforces teaching of home therapy program to client, family, or caregivers as directed.
• Maintains documentation for the clinical record as required by policy.
• Confers with the licensed OT regarding client progress and Plan of Care changes.
• Participates in case conferences and in-service education.
• Maintains confidentiality of all client, family and employee information.
